So, one day he decided to call some artisans from different parts of the country who were experts in crafting Handicrafts. The king told them all to craft some handicrafts based on the Rajasthani culture and tradition. After studying the Rajasthani culture the artisans crafted very unique items.

Raja Sawai Maan Singh II knew that people all around the world are fond of Rajasthani culture and tradition. That’s why for the success of Handicrafts he told the artisans to craft something based on that. The artisans then presented those items in front of the king. Seeing those beautiful handmade items, the king became pleased and rewarded the artisans. The artisans were so moved by the Rajasthani culture that they decided to stay in Rajasthan and craft Handicrafts. Also, the native people joined in and they all crafted Handicrafts. This is how Rajasthani handicrafts came into being.
