X1 Carbon Gen 11 to the ultra-flexible Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook with a 13th Gen Intel processor for $349. We even see the best gaming laptop of CES 2023 (so far). Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11
Lenovo has unveiled its next-generation ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11 ahead of CES 2023, featuring the latest Intel Core i7 processor, 64GB DDR5 RAM, and a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display. Additionally, new X1 laptops Gen8 Yoga and X1 Nano Gen 3 are on the way.
We’re big fans of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon series, calling it the best business laptop. While the new model is closely related to the previous X1 Carbon, it is expected to see a significant performance boost thanks to the latest Intel Core processors – a reference to the expected 13th generation.
In terms of display, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11 has a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with 400 nits HDR500 True Black, and Dolby Vision, and is certified by TÜV Rhineland. The ThinkPad screen is always impressive and seems to be a good screen for both work and streaming content.
Lenovo X1 Yoga Gen 8
The Lenovo X1 Yoga Gen 8 will also go on sale in April 2023 starting at $1,859. It’s significantly more expensive than previous models like the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6, but the official price list will only be available closer to the on-sale date.
The 2-in-1 laptop features the same features as the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11, including the latest. Intel Core i7 processors with Intel vPro, Intel Iris Xe graphics, 64GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 2TB of storage. Gen 4 PCIe NVMe SSD. The X1 Yoga Gen 8 retains the same aluminum chassis as previous Storm Gray models, measuring 12.38 x 8.75 x 0.61 inches and weighing 3 pounds. However, in terms of display, expect a 14-inch OLED touchscreen with 4K resolution, 500-bit Dolby Vision, and TÜV Rheinland certification.
Lenovo X1 Nano Gen 3
Despite its small form factor, the Nano Gen 3 comes with the latest Intel Core i7 processors. Intel Iris Xe graphics, up to 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and up to 2TB of Gen 4 PCIe NVMe SSD storage. It also uses the same ports and connections as its siblings, including two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A 3.2 ports, and HDMI 2.0.As for the display, expect a 13-inch touchscreen with 2K resolution and 450 nits brightness. Additionally, a 1080p IR webcam with a mechanical privacy cover comes with ThinkPad X1 features like carbon and ivy.
