Go to the Settings page in your smartphone app, then tap on Connectivity – Add Device.
On the next screen, select Create New Device from scratch and then follow the steps to add an unsecured access point (AP). You’ll need a few things before getting started:
- First, your Rockspace WiFi extender’s MAC address.
- Second is your home network password or security key.
What to do if Rockspace WiFi Extender Not Working
If your WiFi extender is not working, then it is time to check it. To do this, remove the WiFi extender from its place and check its condition. Also, if there are any mechanical damages or any other problems with it, then you need to contact Rockspace customer service for replacement or repair.
In case, if there is no problem with the WiFi extender, then you need to reset it to check whether it works properly or not. Additionally, you also need to make sure that your WiFi extender is connected to your router’s network cable and also check if there are any issues with the router’s power supply connection.
Moreover, the other thing to check if your Rockspace WiFi Extender is not working is the power. Make sure that it is on. Furthermore, if you have more than one extender, make sure that they are all turned on as well. After checking the power, try restarting your router. However, if you still cannot connect to the extender, resetting your router may help.
If your Rockspace WiFi Extender still isn’t working, try connecting another device to the same network as your extender. Thereafter, if the other device works, then something may be wrong with the Rockspace WiFi Extender itself. If it doesn’t work, then there might be an issue with your home network’s router or modem.
